Gaming Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days makes me mad.

I am hex editing a clean KH358/2Days (U) rom and i follow these instructions...


1: Google and download a program called XVI32.

2: Open your KH rom.

3: At the top click address, then click goto, then click hexidecimal.

4: Type 010E5DC into the box and click ok.

5: The first block should be highlighted and have 0C in it.

6: At the top click edit, click overwrite string, click hex string, in the bottom box type 37.

7: Where it said 0C in the first box it should now say 37.

8: Click file, then click save.

So I did all of that, but when i got to step 4 where it says to type 010E5DC into the box and click ok it should appear on 0C which it did. Then when i overwrote the srting and changed it to 37...where it said 0C it was NOT highlighted, BUT 51 WAS HIGHLIGTED, and 37 was right next to 51. I am confused what should I do?

I'd love to help, but I bought a Cyclo. So unfortunately all the games I play just work as is.

I never got a chance to learn to hex edit games to get them working. -dumz-

You've done everything right, all you need to do is click save now. As long as 37 is in the box where OC used to be you're good to go.

i hate it too especially the missions for sigils and crowns. btw, you should REALLY get a better flash cart like acekard2i

Personally, I hate the fact that I can't figure out which missions are ordeal missions or those normal ones. I want to get Haste, but I can't figure that out how to get those Ordeal points!

What you did was correct save it and play it in your card enjoy. I tried it but i don't like the game.
