ROM Hack Kindom Hearts 358/2 Days on R4

For those R4s with kingdom hearts working on it please post:

-What kind of r4 card you are using
-What kind of micro sd card you are using
-What kind of firmware Did you use
-and what kind of method did you do to make it work on your R4

Because some people claim that kingdom hearts 358/s days is working on their R4
and some people are having problems with it like black screen and white screen

The Hex Editor and the ips patch didn't work for me

if you have other solutions please post it

I was using a 1.18 firmware on a Kingston MicroSD, R4 Revolution. It was working GREAT with the hex editor.

Using r4 revolution with a trancend and a sandisk micro sd card with 1.18 firmware

I've used a hex editor on a clean rom to make the game playable.
Luckly, It loads my japanese save file, w/c is a good thing cause I didn't want to play it over again.XD

I am and I don't see the reason to change...

I tried over 10 different YSMenu's latest or not with all kind of changes... And I didn't managed to run THE game... After that... I haven't experienced any other problems...

All you need is to hex edit the one value and make sure you copy the edited version of the game to your card. Most problems I've seen (and had) with KH 358/2 days is not getting the edited version onto my card (which will give you screens of death).

yes, it should work as i have completed the game right up until the last day on my r4 with the 1.18 firmware, not ysmenu
i manually hex edited it following the instructions given and it works. and had no problems playing it

Works on my friends R4 original, with 4 GB SD card, and YSMenu Unofficial Firmware with DSTT Kernel unofficial (I had to force him to let me install it), with a clean ROM.

Patched it with some custom patcher I found around here;

Using ORIGINAL R4
Kingston Micro SD 2GB
Firmware 1.18

Running perfectly without any trouble at all, but to be honest I haven't played it that much, focusing more on translated Pokémon games
