Mercenary will be released on September 17 in North America and September 18 in Europe. It’s the fifth Killzone game, and the second time the franchise has gone portable, but it’s also the first time it’s come to Vita and the first Killzone game developed outside Guerrilla’s Amsterdam studio. Guerrilla Cambridge.

Personally I can't believe how good this looks and if it plays like the PS3 games then I will definitely be picking it up at launch.

Hopefully these R In-Game screenshots cause it looks purrty :) After the taste COD Vita left in my mouth im looking forward to this......

GC have said it's locked at 30fps.
The Vita's CPU is underclocked right now and in games like ACIII:L they limit the GPU use to extend battery life.
I bet Killzone destroys the battery lol!

Those stills of cgi and/or in-game cutscenes/scripted events are nice and all, but I was hoping for some actual in-game screenshots.

Regardless, I still have every intention of buying this game upon release but there's no doubt in my mind that these new screenshots aren't giving me an accurate depiction of what the game will look like. Then again there's plenty of footage out there of Mercenary now so it's not like I can really complain.

Been playing this for the last few hours and it's amazingly good. Best fps on a handheld period and it's practically a console experience on the go.
A must buy for Vita owners!
If anyone wants to party up so we can dominate some 4vs4 using the party chat app add me on psn!

The game got some really good reviews too! (Except from the guys who didn't want a console quality game?)
