Why are they so apeshit over copy protection? Square-Enix is rolling in dough as it is.

I'm not advocating piracy, but it is still ironic that the company that is trying the hardest to protect its profits also makes probably the most money in the industry.

Alright guys this is gonna be big. We here at HMVG.net are going to make our own Custom Firmware, hopefully. RyuRabbit will be doing most of the work.
Here's what he said:

That's what custom firmware does with all games that you copy to the memory stick. That's why you must change the UMD Iso Mode to a different Driver in the Recovery menu.

Like someone already said to me, any idea you can come up with will probably already have been tried before.
