The patcher is using xdelta, right? Wouldn't be better to give them the patch and Darthnemesis's "drop rom here.bat"? (For those who can't make it work)

Nope XDelta if you use xdelta the patch becomes a size of 216MB.
And i dunno for sure but possibly it´s simply the directory name/path or the filename what causes the trouble someone tried to start it from root and use a short name without spaces and so (even if it usually shouldn´t matter).

Second of all, how do I apply the patch to my rom?

And third of all, if I apply this patch will I lose all my saved progress in the game?

Hey guys, I need help. I tried testing the ROM on No$GBA, but it didn't seem to load after choosing the diffuculty. I also have a version of the game that has been patched succesfully by an IPS. So can I patch an already patched ROM?

If you mean like the piracy patch, then yes. I've been playing in the translation on my R4 without issues, but have yet to try it on the emulator. I don't know why it's freezing, maybe you should try fiddling with the emulation settings.

Well, I have an R4. I was using No$GBA to test it out. So if I apply the patch to an already patched version, it well work on my R4 right?

Just downloaded the patcher, but it says that it's doing something not allowed by the security policy.
I already downloaded and installed framework 3.5. I'm using Vista 32bit.

Just found a solution, when downloading the patcher, click save instead of run. Then it let me patch fine. Sorry for the stupd post.

For those of you having trouble getting past the difficulty selection on No$GBA, you need the file firmware.bin to play it. The only way you can get it is by extracting the firmware from your DS. And before you ask, the file cannot be supplied on gbatemp. Don't worry though, the game should work just fine on the DS.

I think this patch doesn't work for Vista. Another person was complaining it didn't work on his Vista, but when I did it on my XP, it worked perfectly.

Back to my question: Will this work if I patch it on a patched ROM and put it in my R4?

change the compatibility to xp and the option execute like admin (or somthing like that, i have may vista in spanish XD)

Hey guys, first post here.

I tried using the patch and everytime I do I get a popup asking me to make a filetype association with "[rom name].nds.patcher" I tried associating it with the patcher and no$gba and neither of them worked. I'm using Vista 64-bit so I'm going to guess that's the problem. And before you ask, yes I am updated to the latest .NET framework. Can anybody help me?

i have the same problem except im on a 32-bit vista, ill try on my xp comp and see if that works

Same thing happened to me on my Vista machine. I went to an XP machine and it worked great.

Just edited my post, I saved the pathcr to my D: drive and it ran fine.

Patch works perfectly. Only thing is that you can't use cheats now in it... Are you going to translate the story? And if you do what about the videos?

okay i am going to blow up now

For anyone who has STILL problem using the patch, here how it works:

1/ DOWNLOAD the patch & SAVE it anywhere (desktop, c: , d: , etc), don't RUN it or OPEN it (from you internet browser i mean).

2/ Get a clean ROM of KH. Why????? 'CAUSE Psyco made an awesome patch : 2 in 1 (menu translation & anti pirating remover!!) that's why IT takes time, OK??

3/ Apply the patch & WAIT. The result??? a PATCHED ROM

4/ Use it in gba$, in R4, in ITOUCH, in M3, anywhere: IT WILL WORK.

5/ The patch work for both XP & VISTA OS: NO PROBLEM

6/ Where is TONI when we need it????

Yeah, what OXENH said. If you are running on Windows 7 or Vista, and you keep getting an error that says you need to associate file type with patched to open it do the following: Right click on KH Patched, set the compatibility to Windows XP SP3, and check run as administrator. Then open and close the application and the patch should then work fine.
