So according to the product page, "Currently, we are making the package and print the logo for Revo k101. Your pre-order will be send out in September". Does this mean all pre orders will be shipped out by 30/09/12?
Yes, we suppose to restock the Revo K101 in these near days. That is our plan before our long time holiday. But we can not control the jobs in the factory. The real time for delivery of Revo K101 will be the day when we restock it. We will keep you reminded and send out your order when we get this device back.

As this is our first brand name device, we are paying more attention on it. We want to give you a satisfied device and it needs time for us to do that. We suggest you can keep your patience. For any question about your order, kindly contact us via email or PM me. Thanks.

Thanks another world for reply my post ,i will read the post you give me.I purchase the preorder of the revo k101 some days ago and i m still waiting for the release and im honest i cant wait too much xD.Oh i forgot to mention the extra offer give from the reseller k1gba i picked the multi cable link instead of microsd 4gb cards. The reason of changing the offer is because i have a plenty of microsd 16gb.Sorry for write/speak in english i m not good at all. Thanks for reading me :)
We can offer you a free multil- link cable instead of 4GB Card if you want. Kindly PM me and tell me your order ID. I will send you the multi-link cable with the Revo K101 as soon as we restock it. Thanks.
Thanks ruilong i will send you a pm to explain the details of my order.

Guys. We had got your message. We had added your requirement into your order. We will replace those items you want. Feel free to get back to us if you need us to adjust anything for your order. We will try our best to assist you. Thanks.

Again running the actual carts is the only advantage i see this lil thing having for its price i I can emulate gba Games Just fine on a psp.. along with many others and the formfactors are very simmilar. But heh to each their own. i still have a GBA so if i wanted viola p:)

No good sir Mori, and all others on the fence.

Trust me in every single way. You cannot emulate games "fine" on a PSP. GbPSPJ,or other variants of the emulator are fantastic, and are rock solid to be sure. But, once you kick off that "AUTO FRAMESKIP" option to 0, the system doesn't know what it's doing and you're dropping at least eight-ten frames every cycle. For the best example of this pop in Super Mario World, Super Mario Advance 2. Over time a lot of people forget, but this game should run buttery smooth, and I always though it did on PSP, until I picked up a GBA and tested it. The difference is night and day on real hardware. You don't miss/drop a single frame. For this reason alone I'm so stoked for the best homebrew device introduction to the market since the CycloDS, then of course now the Super Card DS Two.

The biggest example of hardware versus software emulation (PSP) has to be the Golden Sun games, all you have to do is step out onto the world map which is using a 3D FX type mode to render the map, and you'll find the PSP crawls in terms of performance. Actually so do many other emulator platforms, yes, even including Dingoo.

So long story short I personally would pay twice for this, because the barrier I continue facing in terms of true framerate/performance all relates to my experience as a gamer. I'm ready for the REVO to FINALLY (trust me, it's been a long time since something like this could even exist) introduce the next step in homebrew. A full hardware clone of the system.

As a parting note for the REVO team, if you guys would invest in creating a SNES portable hardware clone, I would preorder months in advance. Super Mario RPG/Final Fantasy III emulated would be incredible! Unfortunately, the only portable platform that will emulate it accurately is my phone, only because it has a 1.2 GHZ dual core under the hood, but I HATE the touchscreen controls through emulation. Hate.

Thanks everyone for reading my wall of text! Super stoked for the Revo! I might even post a review/impressions on it!

Any news about the revo k101?September ends very soon and i dont see in my preorder account if they are sending the revo k101 or not.I will be patient only i want to know what happen thanks for reading me and im waiting for the answer.

Indeed, we are now October the 1st, almost October the 2nd, and still no news from the product launch :-)

Please give us news !

Interestingly, on September 28th Ruilong replied to a K101 Revo post on DingooCity Forums (http://boards.dingoonity.org/other-game-systems/new-k1-gba-sp-(with-ga330-form-factor)/15/),

Sorry for this delay.

Currently, we are working hard for this device. We still go some thing to test. This is our first brand product. We want to bring you guys a totally new impression.

We will remind you guys and send out your order as soon as everything done.

Feel free to PM or email us if you have any question.

We will try our best to assist you.
Thanks.[/quote]

That being said, I too would like a more recent progress report.

I sent two e-mail to the revo k101 store to see if they answer this time and waiting for ruilong he will share more information about our preorder status :(

I think it's funny that that the reason for the delay is creating an identity for their brand, but the design is heavily ripped from a Dingoo product.

The revo k101 store doesnt reply my e-mails and ruilong doesnt reply my pm..... i fear the worst....anyway if i dont see any reply on whats going on my preorder in five days i will open a dispute on paypal for my money back.

I feel you all need to calm down. Give this man some time, it's still only the 2nd and his most recent reply (outside of the temp) was a few days ago. If there is nothing come Friday? Then you should worry. I just think there's something going on internally. Stuff like this isn't exactly easy. Not to mention the K100 came out, did it not?

OK i dont worry until pass five days and im not upset sorry for that impression on my last message.

Hi guys,

Don't worry about you order. I have ordered two K1GBA (not the k101) and they arrived both.

You just have to be patient, you will receive your order for sur ;) And Ruilong is a good guy i can confirm that.

Don't worry be happy :)

i haven't heard anything about the review sample. so i am assuming they are ironing out the final bugs, firmware, logo, packaging, etc. the k-team is really great and ruilong is really nice. so don't worry, have patience.

Upon doing some investigating,
http://en.wikipedia....en_Week_(China)
Wikipedia said:
Golden Week () in the mainland of the People's Republic of China is the name given to a semi-annual 7-day national holiday, implemented in 2000:[1]
  • The "Spring Festival (or Chinese Lunar New Year) Golden Week" begins in January or February.
  • The "National Day Golden Week" begins around October 1.
A third Golden Week holiday, which spanned May 1 and celebrated Labour Day, existed until 2007.

Three days of paid holiday are given, and the surrounding weekends are re-arranged so that workers in Chinese companies always have seven continuous days of holiday. These national holidays were first started by the government for the PRC's National Day in 1999 and are primarily intended to help expand the domestic tourism market and improve the national standard of living, as well as allowing people to make long-distance family visits. The Golden Weeks are consequently periods of greatly heightened travel activity.

Ruilong previously made mention of a "long time holiday," so I can only assume that everyone involved with the K101 Revo is currently on break until approximately October 7th. This would explain the uncharacteristic silence these past few days. So nothing to worry about.
