i just wanted to check with the pros here: if i buy a genuine sony memory stick off of amazon, will all my games run fine without slowdown? i remember someone posting a while back that the only consistent brand of cards speed-wise is sony. i have a lexar now that can run bbs and pw just fine, but cant handle the heavy stuff like in gow or psp2. thx

id like to stick with prome2, so changing fw is not an option. and i dont want to take my chances with sandisks (some people have bad some people have great)

again, are genuine sony sticks always reliable with no slowdownS?

i know, id like a sandisk too but i want to make sure i get a fast one

if anybody has a link to a sandisk that they know for sure is genuine and speedy, please post

Damn they lowered the price since I ordered it.

Be careful not to get a faster card with 8-bit parallel interface since the PSP can only use 4-bit parallel. I know 8 bit is for PRO-HG Duo but maybe ultra II as well making a regular one the same.

wow! and 8gb too! just the size i was looking for. if you can guarantee that it's a fast card and it wont have slowdown, ill definitely buy it.

xist is that card any different? its 10 bucks more.

The Ultra II MS's have faster read/write speeds. They're all variable from stick to stick but if you're wanting the fastest one, definitely go Ultra II.

don't ever buy a memory stick or an sd card from amazon or ebay. 90% r fake.
Amazon does two things.

1 - Official stores. Thee are legit.

2 - User-run stores. These are like ebay. Could be legit, could not be.

Generally if you're buying the cheap stuff, it's a user-run store.

those r usually the amazon marketplace vendors. i stay away from those whenever i can.
