Hacking Just opened Cobalt DS has dim screens

I bought a Cobalt DS lite in January, and I finally opened it today, put on Hori screen protectors, and I noticed that the screens are very dim compared to my Zelda DS lite. Is there a way I can fix this....and is anybody else experiencing the same thing?

Are the brightness settings the same for both DS Lites?
Could the screen protectors have anything to do with it (does your Zelda DS have them too?)

This is strange since the Cobalt/black one's screens should seem brighter since the DS itself is darker.

Most likely you didn't set the brightness.

They are on the same brightness settings, and the Zelda DS has them too....it's stupid because both have OEM screens.
