Just got my SEXY new computer!

So, to make a long story short, when my dad passed away, he left me a whole crapload of coins. For the LONGEST time I thought they were worthless, so they were sitting in the storage shed for years. I finally got around to seeing what they were worth. So, I took them to a dealer expecting to probably get MAYBE $200. I got roughly $3000.

So...I bought my mom a pink moped (yes, yes I did.)


And I went down to Fry's Electronics and got myself an Open Box deal for a sweet little Acer Predator G5900

Specs:

Mobo Chipset: Intel H57 Express
CPU: Intel Core i7 i7-870 / 2.93 GHz
Memory: 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz
HDD: 1.5Tb x 2 (One is mine that I had from my old computer)
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 5850

Extra Stuff I got:

LG Flatron IPS231 23" LED Monitor (also Open Box deal)

Logitech G510 Gaming Keyboard

Logitech G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse

Pretty sweet haul if I do say so myself!

Any Nerd worth his salt without a 1 year old son would have built his own computer.

I have a very small townhouse, and a very curious little boy. Building my own PC just isn't an option right now, but upgrading it in the future may very well be. So, I bought a very customizable rig that has some balls right out of the gate.

And for everyone asking, my PSU is 750. I may get a 900 when I choose to upgrade my Graphics card.
