Gaming Just bought the Mass Effect collection on steam.

Mass Effect 1 and 2 are on steam for about 13 dollars so I bought them. Never played the Mass Effect series before but should be good

Anyone got any tips for Mass Effect 1 while I download it?

Mass Effect 1 has a slow start but be assured, that it will pick up pace.You're in for a treat.

Advice? Well make sure to fill up your Charm so you can save a certain Krogan near the end)

Begin with an infiltrator.
Playing as a renegade is more fun.
Femshep has better voice acting.

Skip ME1, just play 2. Watch the summary of the story if you feel like it (and can manage to stay awake). ME1's gameplay is awful.

Or skip right to 3, but the gameplay in 2 is solid enough that it's fun too.
