I have bought G6DS Real.I want to know
1) what I have to do first before inserting inside the DSLite console.
firmware upgrade,...
2) how I can load files to it?
3) i see U and E will I be able to use U(europ) files
4) are DS ROMs same as .nds files?

Thank you

(U) isn't Ur-up, (E) is Europe. Yes you will be able to use all regions.

To load files, insert the adapter, then the G6 itself. Then just drag and drop your files. If there was a mini CD with your G6 follow the instruction on that.

TO AVOID CORRUPTION: Never remove the G6 from the adapter itself, always remove both first. Always click on "safely remove hardware" icon.

I went to their site to download lates firmware it has slot-1 or slot-2 choice, which one do i use?
also MoonShell do I need to install it separately?I read it is for mp3,..divx movies?

Once you get to their Site click Slot 1, then go to downloads and everything you need is there.

I have read this "The G6DS Real allows you to boot either an NDS mode slot 2 flash kit adapter, or a real GBA game pak (or GBA flash cart) from within its OS."

I assume if my games are in .nds format I should use NDS mode slot 2,what is GBA pak how I will know if a game is in that format?thanks

Right, your ROMS are in .nds format. You paste them into a folder on your G6 Real called NDS. No patching required. A GBA pak is simply a GBA cartridge. The G6 allows you to boot a Gameboy Advance game from the GBA slot or a GBA flashcart. Your roms should always be in .nds format. ALWAYS. When downloaded they will 10/10 times be in .nds format. GBA games are in .gba format. Your G6 Real is a Slot 1 cart, Slot 1 refers to a DS game card. Slot 2 refers to a GBA game or flashcart. I am not too sure exactly what you are asking but hopefully this answers any questions.

In order to play a .gba on a DS you need a GBA flashcart.
