A guy was selling one on Craigslist for $60 and dissidia and hot shots golf so I jumped on it.

Now what do I do? Can I run CFW on this? I have (a busted) psp-1000, so I have a collection of ISOs, can I still run them on this, or do I have to wait for the "new" cfws, with the recent hacking.

Sorry I sound like a newb, I appreciate your help.

Another newb question. I got the HEN firmware to install and I ran a few games then I attemped to play another game (MLB The show 09) and the PSP, turned off and the firmware is "gone"

any ideas?

Is that just some AP?

No. it is a "temporary CFW" and needs to be redone upon each complete shutdown.

There is no way to permanently flash a CFW to 3000's and Gos... YET.

Just run Half Byte Loader and use the ISO Loader, and just turn the PSP to sleep each time. As long as it is not a full shut down, the 6.35 PRO HEN firmware will stay.

Ignore half-byte loader, you want to keep using the HEN.

As said, a HEN is temporary, you need to reactivate it each time the PSP loses power (sleep mode is okay). The ISO loader is not perfect yet and a lot of games don't work, you can find more info here.

That's a list for 6.20, but 6.20 was the first and 6.35 uses the same ISO loader program.

That'd still occupy space in RAM...i'd bet on a signed ISO Loader.

Wait.. I have a 3001 with 5.03 Gen-C Full installed since February, is there any reason for me to change loaders? I'm not that too intellect with the PSP CFW scene.

I just feel that having a HEN shunted into RAM is more limiting. If you can have a "shell" that enables things to run which are unsigned, then if you're capable of signing them why bother with the Shell.

I mentioned the RAM thing because the issue described by that shutdown in MLB sounds like a RAM Overflow error.

Did you have some pot brownies before you posted that?
