Hardware Just bought a new switch and it doesn’t work With the dock

So I bought a new switch (I have a old one) and I put it in the dock.. screen turns black and led on the dock turns on! But no display on the tv
I tried unplugging all the cords for 30-1:00 and it Didn’t work so if you can please help me with this issue

No it’s a normal switch

If you can connect other HDMI devices just fine, there's a very good chance you need to return your switch. That's my advice.
