Hacking Jpeg to MPO?

you mean convert a jpg into a 3D picture?
You know that the source file has to be 3D too?
It's the same with the videos.
 
If you want a realistic 3D photo then you need at least 2 source photos, each made from an ever so slightly different angle. Fair play, you can do some crop and copy pasta magic if you want, but it'll take forever.
 
why would you want to do that, jpegs show up on the 3ds album already plus you can't magically transform a 2D jpeg in a 3D mpo.
But if you have two jpegs, one for the left eye, one for the right eye, you can convert them into a 3d mpo file. This was already possible before the 3ds was released.

I wasn't saying to get Criss Angel.

Then how do they take a movie filmed in regular 2D and make it a 3D movie? For example, the non-CGI parts of Green Lantern, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Thor, The Smurfs, and The Green Hornet just to name a few.

ok i should have said "you can't transform a 2D jpeg in a 3D mpo without a lot of effort"
