Java for DS

So what exactly can and can't this DS Java do.

It seems to run basic output and mathematical operations fine. But what else can it do?

I haven't messed with this much, but I will.

It can control sprites aswell, however it seems to be too preliminary to manage properly manage graphics.

Has anybody played around with this more? I'm working on a term project in class and my teacher actually allowed me to program java on the ds for the project.

So, I was wondering if anybody found out precisely what this java ds can and cannot do. Thanks

So I'm pretty sure I didn't overlook any reply to Kellyan, does this mean we could play Runescape on the DS?

I'm still waiting on a Java 2 Mobile Edition port to the DS. :/ They have a good one for the PSP but none for the DS as far as I can tell.

I guess I'll just program for the psp then. Seems like practicality would be worse on the PSP though. Oh well. Who wants to try my program when I'm done? =D
