The game has multiplayer online, tho the full Nintendo Network thingy hasn't really been explained it's supposed to give games a better online experience and such. =S

I pre-ordered the game, and can't wait for it.

I didn't read the entire interview but it sounded like it was more about Smash than Kid Icarus...

I think its like the xbox live logo. An easier way to tell customers it is an online game. :)

I saw the in depth video on IGN and it seems a hell of a lot deeper than I thought it would be. I imagined it to be something like "flying shooter bits dazzle dazzle backgrounds, reach land, run about hacking stuff, do boss battle" and from what I saw was enough for me to go and buy it but I was patient to wait. The video showed there was so much more to it and now I can't wait to get it.

Also the multiplayer mode looks damn fine too, its not even needed! Nintendo usually just does a single player mode for games like this and that's it but the multiplayer looks like its its own game too.

Nintendo has a habbit of doing this, like with Skyward Sword & Mario Galaxy 2, they both looked like yet more entries in the series but then close to release they showed that they weren't.

these "iwata asks" aren't very informing, most of the people who check these interviews out already know everything about the game that was mentioned in the interview
it's pretty cool i guess, too bad i can't get a hold of the game^^
