Well, since I sold my iPod on Friday (and since there's no point to shipping it out until Monday so I decided to play with it until then
) I need to restore it to remove all my stuff. Sounds easy right? NOPE!!
I've been using my iPod kinda like a media player by itself, in fact the only time I plugged it in was on a friends laptop for jailbreaking and doing that "first sync."
Now, restoring it normally wouldn't be a issue, but a few things: 1. My main computer doesn't have a video card (new one is in the mail), 2. My friends is away and his laptop went with him. 3. My backup rig (the one I'm on now, which sucks) has a outdated version iTunes. So since number three seems the easiest to fix I decided to install iTunes.
Well, that was around half an hour ago now.
The freaking thing JUST stopped installing now! Now I'm waiting for the thing to restore, and that takes awhile... All that for a simple restore!
DAMN YOU APPLE!! YOU STILL WANT TO GIVE ME ONE LAST KICK IN THE NUTS!
EDIT: Well, just got it done. It was around an hour to get the whole thing done!
