Apple iTunes Store problem/question

Hi...

does anyone knows how can i check an itunes store card code (16 digit) without actually redeeming it???

i just want to check the balance of the card code, if its legit, i dont want to redeem it.......

like with PSN, you can check the balance of the psn card without redeeming it....

i have searched with no luck

is it possible????

and calling to apple is not an option, because im not from the US... but its an US itunes card..

The way an iTunes card works is it has fifteen pounds (or dollars etc) and when you redeem it that 15 pounds goes into your account out of the card.

Tl dr: the card either has the full amount of money or nothing

i bought online a $50 US itunes card code, and i want to sell it (here in my country) i dont want to use it, but how can i check if it indeed has the $50 dollars value without redeeming it?? i just want to check it

Find the person to sell it to, ask them to try redeeming it, then once it's redeemed get the other person to give you the money

in order to check it,you need to scratch it off, then input the code in itunes.

tell you to "enter a valid prepaid card code".

i dont have the card, i just have the CODE, i bought it online, and i want to sell it, but i dont know for sure if it works, or if it has the $50 amount ............

i don't know if it works in your country,but to check it,
input the code in itunes. click "redeem",if it's legit,
itunes will prompt you to enter your password.
you can cancel anytime.

if it's already been redeemed or whatever.,if you
click redeem..you'll get this:
