My music library is 178GB. Indexing that shit is no joke.

Nothing in my library it uses 46K.

That's typical. Most modern music applications beside Foobar2000 use a lot of memory.

You can't really compare VLC and iTunes because it is not a jukebox application (lack of music library) like iTunes, Foobar2000, or Winamp.

But, I haven't used VLC since, like, 2004. It may have changed though.
