Tried LimeRa1n on my 2gen ipod touch didn't work.. its a mc model as well.. has 4.1 firmware. Then tried Greenpoison and no luck either .. . any ideas to jailbreak it too?

When i tried to jailbreak with greenpois0n once, it had failed. I restored and tried again, and it worked. If you're willing to do that, you can jailbreak.

iTunes will install all legit apps. For some "ahaarrr"-ing apps you'll need [Redacted]. For jailbreaking apps just use Cydia

I had no problems jailbreaking my 8 GB iPod Touch 2G (MC) with greenpois0n on my 64-bit machine. Limera1n doesn't work with the iPod Touch 2G (MC).

Windows 7 Ultimate.

Edit: Did you make sure to run the program as administrator?

yes i did, maybe its a windows VISTA 64 bit thing.. its a funny animal .. It all worked well on my xp machine so no worries.. I have wn7 ultimate as well on wifes lappy, (32 bit for her) .. maybe try it next time on that one and see.. I have the 16 gig mb model with firm 2.21 on it.. will do that one up tomorrow.
