I think he's talking about when you view items. you can make them grouped together by letter, among other things.
My items group up by date for when it was last created/modified. When I sort the items by name, group as none and then refresh the window, it still continues to group up. Could possibly be a Windows issue?

it's possible. I've encounter weird behavior with windows in the past, and it usually had something to do with something that was installed. it might be a registry issue. that's the only thing left I can think of.
That actually works now, also used CCleaner to clear the icon cache just in case. Thanks for the help man.
