Hacking Issues with all usbloaders and certain games

I have a modded 4.3u wii. I had modded it years ago, but just went through the re-modding process with modmii.

When I try to open up a bunch of games (Donkey Kong Country, NBA Jam for instance) it acts as if my controller is not connected. It even says, on Donkey Kong Country, right before I click on a world to play, that play 1 remote has been disconnected.

Any suggestions on where to go from here? This happens whether I use USB LoaderGX or any other usb game loading app.

I edited your thread titles. You made it look like it was an issue with USBLoaderGX only, but you said it happens with all loaders.

is your Wiimote an official one? RVL-03 ? RVL-36 ?
Maybe the games don't like wiimote+ controllers

They are all official wii remotes. It doesn't do it on every game, just some games.

sometime wiimote issue can be cIOS related, but usually affected at IOS reload and not later in the game.

did you try using a different slot for these games?
for example 222 or 224?

Trying it repeatedly (with different ios options) and it just continues to freeze on the very first splash screen (for NBA jam) after the Wii remote warning. Donkey Kong freezes at the same point as well. Any other thoughts?
