B9S 1.2

They would have to be on B9S 1.2, otherwise they would be getting an "unsupported launcher" error, not "an exception occurred".Good point, almost forgot about that.
This Luma 7.1 release is for B9S 1.0 only. They will not be able to boot into this.
oh my bad. Half awake me here didn't see this. Thought he couldnt boot at all. Well is it because he is on 4.5 then? They would have to be on B9S 1.2, otherwise they would be getting an "unsupported launcher" error, not "an exception occurred".
This will not work. They will not be able to boot into this. Luma 7.1 is for B9S 1.0 only.

Interesting. This is definitely worth a shot.Try this.
Luma3DS 7.1-6c6d710 for B9S 1.2.
Of course, but if they can use that Luma 7.1 to boot into their Home Menu, then they could update straight to 11.4.Anyway, if he's still on 4.5 updating has to be done.
