Good point, almost forgot about that. If he did install B9S today, it's already 1.2, for 1.0 it has to be 5+ days ago.

If it's 1.0, Luma3DS 8+ will only work with B9S 1.2 > updating B9S

This Luma 7.1 release is for B9S 1.0 only. They will not be able to boot into this.

This will not work. They will not be able to boot into this. Luma 7.1 is for B9S 1.0 only.

Of course, but if they can use that Luma 7.1 to boot into their Home Menu, then they could update straight to 11.4.

BTW, why SysNAND 4.5 users don't have the firmware.bin and cetk?
