This is my first ISO donwloaded (the others are still downloading very slowly), but I'm pretty sure the ISO ends in .ISO 8-)

But your file is a winrar archive without file extension?
he cant see file extensions i think

Don't tell him that he has a .iso, but doesn't know it. That's just too funny. Pirates ...

The size is 4.37 GB.
It seems like the ISO (or seems like the ISO is within it), but someone posted that you can't burn the RAR on to disc if you want the game to be read.

EDIT: Sorry. This whole thing started because the extension wasn't shown. I should have done this in the first place, but anyway, while burning on ImgBurn, the file is apparently .iso. It seems to be burning fine. T-T'

Winrar always tells me the file inside is damaged when I try to open an iso by accident.
Uncheck the winrar option to use winrar as default app for iso files and windows will stop making your iso files pretend to be winrar.
If that makes any sense, I know what I mean.

Yay I'm glad you have the problem sorted- imgburn can help you verify an ISO file if you arent sure! So if you do get confused, use imgburn.

And yeah, if the win rar thing annoys you, I'd suggest following mabilouz advice so you can avoid confusion!

Good luck!

Well, you're not making it any easier, buddy. Instead of wasting a post by telling someone to go look up something, you might as well answer it if you know the solution T-T'

Btw, you don't need the IOS38 for the game. the Wii Speak thing isnt essential. First of all, I haven't even gotten to the update (which is required for the Wii Speak). As far as I know for the Gecko OS, it's for the WiiBrew channel (which I don't have yet.) and I'm not planning to use any homebrews.

Do you have at least the Homebrew Channel installed?

I edited my previous post so I'll re-post again. I'm not planning to use any homebrew apps.
The mod chip didn't come with some form of a manual, so I didn't have much knowledge of anything outside of the mod chip (Knowledge of what is required to run an ISO, at least.)

"The Homebrew Channel is a channel for launching Wii homebrew applications without the need to run the Twilight Hack first"

I don't plan on running any Homebrew apps (unless one is required to run a disc with a modded wii)

Sometimes you do. I could play AC:CF fine without it, but my friend got nothing but a black screen until I installed IOS38 for him.

Again, I must repeat that I hadn't even gone as far as to loading the game. I'm starting to think this is a mod chip problem T-T'
I put in the disc, went to disc channel, the little gamecube and wii disc spun around for about 5 seconds, they both fly off into the sky
"Game Disc cannot be read. Please refer to the Wii Operations Manual for further instructions" etc. etc.
