You mean... Color Splash Deluxe?

OK nice never heard before but she's due a game as tht was 14 years ago

I might be one of the few that kinda enjoyed Sticker Star. Don't get me wrong, I would much rather have a traditional battle system and a good story and most importantly a partner system, but I thought it was decent enough fun. I actually like Color Splash less, even though it has some improvements, the battle system is just so slow. But I might give it another chance if it got a Switch port.
Now that doesn't mean I like Sticker Star. It just means I had fun playing it and managed to see it through to the end. It's still only a fraction of the greatness TTYD was.
Why would you want another title after the last three entries? I have zero confidence we'll ever see a good Paper Mario TTYD successor.
Last two. Super Paper Mario was great. It was different, and maybe some people weren't happy with that, but it was a great game. Easy to get into, great story, interesting and unique areas. Way more than could be said for the last two.
Paper Mario doesn't have to keep following the exact same formula as the original and TTYD to be good and Super Paper Mario shows that. It's just that what they've been doing with it recently has pissed off every single fan.

You guys, play Bug Fables. It's on Steam, 20 bucks, and in the first 10 minutes it feels like Paper Mario. There are "badges" (medals), "Star Points" (Exploration Points) and more like that. Even the fight system feels the same.

Awesome, I'll check it out thanks.
Omg that looks like an awesome Paper Mario clone! Yes, I'm so buying it Tysm

I'd be happy with Paper Mario 64 HD, especially since all its HD texture pack projects are dead. TTYD just doesn't capture the magic of the original for me.
Someone who shares my opinion. TTYD certainly was great and improved upon the technical aspects and gameplay of the first, but the characters, writing, and atmosphere just feel...off. They just don't compare to the magical whimsical feeling of the original.
