Gotcha. Thanks for the update. Though looking like the DS TWO isn't a good idea. And as I said, this should give the proper competition for the SC team to really work hard on making their card better, since if this offers the same features, it would make more people buy that card instead of the DS TWO.
Lolwut?
I'm almost definite sure people would prefer to buy the SC2 over this card if the features are alike.
The SC2 costs only $3 more, what would people prefer? a card which is supported by a team with a long history (and by individual developers) who're known for their great support? or a card which is supported by a new team in the scene, which we can't know how often they'll update, and how long they'll keep supporting their products, and what more, their first card failed?
So far we know that the SC2 beats the iSmart MM when it comes to features (based on the information we were given on the iSmart MM), as it lacks a built in SNES emu, a pdf reader, and some other emulators made by individual developers.
The iSmart team's greatest mistake was releasing a flashcart in such a late stage of the DS's life spawn,
especially when a successor to the DS has already been announced.
This might even sell less than the CycloDS iEvolution, as TC has quite a few fans who'd buy anything they release (that is if it won't have some ridicules price tag)... then again, we don't know much about the iCyclo.
The only way this has a chance of selling well is if the GBA emulator will be superior to the SC2's - which I doubt will happen, as I believe that it's basically an iPlayer port (I doubt the GBA emulator will even support RTC (real time clock) at first), OR it will have an amazing emulator that the SC2 doesn't (or won't) have - such as a PSX emulator (which I doubt that will ever happen).
Not trying to bash the iSmart MM, I know the iSmart team is new and all and they do deserve a chance, but I just don't think people would buy it over the SC2...
I don't even see the reason to buy a SC2, to that matter, unless it will work on the 3DS somehow...
