Does this only work for iSmart MM?
Yes.

Until tysong decide to port that to the dstwo CPU and sdk, it won't run on anything than a ismart MM.
QUOTE(mercluke @ Apr 27 2011, 02:43 PM) i am a lazy craphead and so I haven't read the entire thread but..

1) will this/can this be made to work on the iplayer?

2) if so, can i use this to play some dingux homebrew such as zelda RotH since my dingoo has a broken sd slot?
Probably yes, as the iSmart MM is totaly based on the iPlayer hardware. But afaik the ismm kernel is not compatible with the iPlayer, so there is no way to run this plugin on it.

@all : Cheryl natsu has updated the translation of the theme.cfg (Dmenu). Now it's fully English translated. The filetrip file is updated.

But did somebody already try a fingux app like FBA or Mame4all ?
And can you post a video ?
I already tried a couple of emulators provided in the dinguxZ4. I don't own a good camera to make a video.
Maybe i will take some photo.

How do you know? iPlayer is from the Supercard team and the DSTwo is based on the iPlayer.
Do you think iPlayer team = Supercard team = iSmart team?

Don't think, it is. The SCTeam develop the iSmartMM kernel etc. The DSTwo has a faster processor and more RAM than an iPlayer. The iSMM is an iPlayer with extra RAM and the ability to play NDS games.

The iPlayer team is the Supercard Team also they did help the iSmart team.
Also this might clear some things up

I made this mistake also a long time ago. i thought like you that the iPlayer got a 16MB SDRAM.
Then i realised that most of people including me who verified the winbond component on the iPlayer missunderstood the pdf of the manufacturer.
http://www.winbond.com.tw/hq/enu/ProductAn...M/W9825G6EH.htm
This SDRAM is a 32MB like on the dstwo.
2,097,152 Words x 4 banks = 8,388,608 Words in 32bits, in 8bits = 33,554,432 Words => 32MB.

To summerize, the dstwo got a faster CPU (24mhz in plus) and the same amount of SDRAM.
And the iSMM got the same hardware than the iPlayer except its firmware and kernel.
