Hey guys I know I'm really late but do you mind offering me some assistance? I was watching Tech James' video on how to remove the black screen off Usb Loadergx while attempting to load games and the video said to install these wads. I did not knowing that they were meant for the original wii and not the vwii and so my vwii is bricked. Is there anyway for me to fix it I dont think I made any backups or anything. But there is that FTP server that might allow me to do something from my PC. Thanks!

And that is why you should never follow youtube guides. They are almost always outdated or simply incorrect, often they include links to files added by the author of the video when they don't know exactly what the files do or why they are needed so they can't explain it to the viewers, and as a result the files might be dangerous to those that don't know what they are doing.

@Cyan might be able to point you in the right direction though.
Start by telling us exactly what you installed.

it's possible, but difficulty to do it will be based on how much damage you did.
like he said, first you need to tell us exactly what you did, which file you used (filename for example), etc.

then, do not attempt fixing it yourself, you might do more wrong than good. wait for the help, and always report what you did, what you see, and don't go faster thinking you know what comes next.
