    Hello,

I was surfing through the Internet, when I stumbled upon this website: http://www.wiiuhomebrew.com/
Basically, it talks about Wii U hacking, but as far as I've read, it's only talking about hacking the Wii, but mentioning the Wii U instead. There're other links like Wii U roms (or rather retro games roms), Wii U homebrew channel, etc...

Is this website purposely misleading or what?

If this were real it would make front page, also I see the old Wii u pad that has circle pad instead of dual analogs.
Also naviagte with "gamecube controller" ultimate troll.
The only homebrew on wii u is the hack in vwii I'm mean for Fucks sake they have a Wii u emulator on the side to download, yeah 100% bullshit.

No problem, just hate sites like these as they tend to give you virus so stay away from sources like these as they are not legit.

Don't worry, I always use the Wii U Browser, so I cannot download things and get viruses... Right?...

If you're browsing this on your Wii U, the chance of getting a virus is slim to none. Malicious code being written for consoles themselves is still pretty much unheard of. But yeah, these types of sites are generally just scams. Some of them do distribute malware etc if you access them on your pc and dload any files from them or whatever. Some of these scams even demand payment for free software. General rule of thumb, if it sounds too good to be true, or something just seems a bit "off" run like hell lol. Most of these sites are just pulling random information from other sources and slapping it all together in a pitiful attempt to make it look like a legitimate next gen homebrew site, when in reality, its a facade. Another dead give away is awful grammar and just straight up statements that don't make any damn sense
