Is this a problem with my HDMI cable?

We got a Blu-Ray player and a cheap HDMI cable (both from Walmart) and our picture is CRAP. It's all fuzzy, even on Blu-Ray discs, and there's this flickery stripe at the bottom of the TV (only during playback for some reason; the menu is fine).

Is it a TV, player or cable problem?

Your cable might be damaged.

definitely sounds like a cable problem.
always go for gold plated cables, i've purchased a few from Amazon, around the £15-20 mark and all mine look fantastic.

Personally i'd buy a new cable to see if it makes a difference.

OK. I was planning on doing that. I was also planning to get gold-plated cables.
