    that I could reduce how loud my Wii sounds in terms of the fan? It's seriously deterring for my gaming sessions. It sounds louder than MY PS3.

    Then fan....? I've never noticed a sound from my wii other than it some beeping when it turns on and the disc spinning up. Has it always been this loud? Something might be stuck in it, try cleaning it out, or if you have to open it up and see what's in there.

    Yeah, I'd think something could be wrong with it. Or just put it in a more secluded space.

    Try getting a $5 canned air and blowing it out... Every Wii I know is wicked quiet...

    one option works only

    but do this only if your wii is 1+ years old
    no more warrantly

    chanve the cooling fan to one with mac 14db sond procude

    search for a site with the corect sized fans

    and replace the old one(s)
