My friend just hacked his wii to get the HBC. It was v4.3 but he told me he downgraded to 4.1. Is there app or something that can download all the cios that he needs to play the latest wii game backups (disc or usb)? Or will I he have to intall them one at a time? He got his wii sometime this year and I heard that new wiis cant play backup discs. Is that true? Thanks for the help.

yeah its true the new wii's have a drive in them that will not play backups

ModMii can download all the IOS and cIOS files one needs to play the latest games. For cIOS files, I recommend 249d2x56 and 250d2x57.

Since it is a newer Wii, USB loading is the only way to play backups on that Wii.
