I mean, seriously, this topic is fail...a BIG one. I would say the following:

1) Go here
2) Read, search, and please, realy read up
3) Decide for yourself if you want Homebrew, if you like the Apps, etc.

3.1) If yes, I would also recommend to read up here, and get more Informations how all this works...

I mean, seriously...if you even don't know about what you're talking, what Homebrew is, what you're doing and if you should install it...then my nice, and realy serious advice is:

LEAVE IT!!!

Btw: HBC is safe, the rest, like some Apps, shouldn't be touched by complete Noobs...

i know how to install it, ive been there, i know how its works.
I'm just asking if i should put it on my Wii, cause i dont want stuff on my Wii thats compete wank.

(assuming by installing hackmii you mean bootmii as boot2)

Yes, flashing boot 2 (/patching) onto nand with no way of flashing it back / correcting a bad flash is very minor. You're only flashing a needed step in the boot process in your Wii that cannot function unless it is correctly installed (or patched). The HBC isn't as dangerous as it is 'only' a channel, but screw that install up (and don't have bootmii installed as boot2 and a valid nand dump of your Wii) and you'll be left with a brick regardless. As for how useful it is, very as it is THE way of easily running homebrew and/or the easiest and best way to 'brick proof' your Wii.

If it's Wank for you, you realy have to decide for yourself. In my Opinion, with a Media Player, Emulators, small games, some cool hacks (GeckoOS, USB-Loader, etc...), this was a good, probably the best decision for my Wii to install the HBC. More things will come, and your Wii probably will only get better with Homebrew, not worser (if you know what you're doing!!!). That's my opinion. In the end, it's up to you.
 
If you're not sure whether you should be installing homebrew, you shouldn't be installing homebrew. Bye.

Personally I think everybody should have the HBC, even people without Wii's lol
