I wanted to know if there is a Mii editing program out there. I know there's Mii Extractor and Installer homebrew apps, but are there computer-based programs to edit them? I know theres a retail product in stores called Mii Manager, but it's $20 and I'm not too sure what it does.

It's pretty pointless really, since it does the same thing as the Wii, but there's no good interface. Just a few drop-down menus.

Datel's "My Mii Manager" is a commercial one. They had em in Best Buys for a while.

ya that's the one I saw in stores.

Do any of these editors mentioned above differ from what's already offered by the Wii's own Mii channel?

There is a perfecty good one built into the Wii. It does everything that the PC basewd ones can do, and does it better.

You can still find MyMiiManager in some Circuit City stores at a closeout price of $3.30. At the very least you get a BlueTooth dongle even if you don't like the software.
