    Right here at GBAtemp! ^_^
    Is there a Nintendo DS and/or PC game like/similar to Monster Hunter?
    It has a unique gameplay and I would realy like to know if there is one.
    If there are any, are they good with co-op or multiplayer?[IMG]

    The game that comes closest to monster hunter I can think of is Phantasy Star Zero. I don't think there is any games that stand out to be a real monster hunter clone.

    Edit! beat me to it [IMG]

    Phantasy Star Zero was great but it was a bit disappointing. I had high hopes.
    Aren't there any for the PC though?

    I hope this thread isn't a waste of cyber space. [IMG]

    From what I've heard of Monster Hunters, Kaijuu Busters for the DS is relatively similar.

    It is in Japanese only so far, though.

    Well, on the bright side, Kaijuu Busters is also an Ultraman tie-in. (no actual Ultraman (outside of a brief montage at the beginning) but you do play as a member of the Science Patrol, and monsters from the series pop up throughout the game)

    Phantasy Star Online in general lol,
    just because SchtServ exists doesn't mean the originals didn't exist.

    also, phantasy star universe might get private server'd soon, that should be interesting.

    "Blue Burst" was the PC port of PSO (as opposed to the dreamcast and gamecube versions), which originally included episode 4. It doesn't specifically refer to the SCHT private server.

    And yeah, I'm eagerly awaiting the private server for PSU, I never did play it online. ^^;
