So i just got a switch lite last week, and well i was just curious if "out of the box" the paste nintendo uses is any good or should i spend a few dollars and apply my own? This is also my first switch so i don't plan on overclocking it or anything.
Hardware is the thermal paste in the switch any good?

It’s far from the best, but it gets the job done.
It handles 1785mhz/921mhz CPU/GPU on Erista hardware just fine, so I’m sure it’ll be fine on a Mariko unit (which uses half the power Erista uses at the same clocks) running at maximum of 1020mhz/460mhz CPU/GPU
