Is parsec compatible with emulators?

i know parsec is to play local multiplayer games online but is it compatible with emulators?

How would you be using parsec? I currently use parsec on a home network to access a desktop virtual machine for steam, and it works just fine.
But if youre using parsec for emulators, you need to check and see what parsec supports. Im assuming it supports windows and linux.
Most emulators can run on a Linux OS but probably not the emulator by itself, even retroarch for Linux would need a default Linux OS to try running that(Parsec) me thinks.
Just some guesstimations.
