So today I booted up my Wii U like normal and I after I select a user it’s just stuck on the home menu but the home menu doesn’t show up (it doesn’t freeze the little icons in the background still move) my Wii U is modded but I only use the browser exploit, when I loaded up the exploit it said it didn’t detect the SD card, so I just rebooted the system like always, but after I turned it on again the situation that I explained earlier happened. I think it’s probably bricked but i wanted to be sure by asking here just in case

UPDATE: just found out it wasnt bricked, the problem was the clock battery, i removed it and started the Wii U and is now working just fine

do you have a usb drive plugged in? power off, then unplug it and power on if you do. it doesn't sound like any brick I've heard of.

I do, I tried to do what you said multiple times But it doesn’t change anything

it's possibly bricked, but I've never heard of it doing that. I've heard of a brick, boot loop though.

Yeah that's not typically what a Wii U brick looks like. I know you said you've tried booting without the usb drive connected, but have you also tried booting without an SD card inserted as well?
