Hey all,

I have a Nintendo Switch that I'm trying to mod, when I type the serial number into "ismyswitchpatched", I get this message...

"Your console is possibly patched. Possible firmware version out of the box: 4.1.0"

I read that it's still worth trying to mod as it might work, I followed the guides online with the correct files, but when I inject the payload from Tegra I get a black screen with nothing happening. If I try injecting again, it says that it has already been injected (again with a black screen) and the Switch hangs until I hard reset it.

So, is it possible to soft mod my Switch or am I out of luck?

What message appears on the device that sends the payload? And which payload(s) are you trying to send?

My Switch is hackable but I've seen a black screen many times in my first attempts, which seems to depend on the hardware setup (PC itself, USB port, and cable). Most reliable in my case is using my Android phone and a C to C cable. But that's 100% anecdotal, just exemplifying.

Unless you switch is either an unpatched v1 or your firmware is on 4.1, you won't be able to softmod it

wich firmware do you have installed in your switch?

I'm trying to send this "hekate_ctcaer_6.2.2", when I try to inject, it gives me this message ""WARNING! Payload already injected. Are you sure you want to overwrite the stack again?"

I get a black screen either way, the USB cable I'm using is fine because I use it all the time on another modded Switch.

The Switch is on the latest Firmware, 19.0.1.

Thread 'A definitive way to test if your Switch is patched or not (purchases after 07-2018)' https://gbatemp.net/threads/a-defin...atched-or-not-purchases-after-07-2018.512018/

This thread will help you.
Yeah, I came across that thread while looking for an answer, but it didn't help me as I couldn't get it to work correctly.

Try the guide if you get a 0x0000 then it is patched.

I tried before like I said, and it gave me an error message "Reading device id failed with win32 error 31".

I've no idea what that means, I will try again now and see if I can get a different result.

The guide @Hayato213 posted should help you if you have a Windows PC to test. I remember people with a Mac had trouble with it, you can read the thread to get some info about it. If your phone can handle it, you should also try Rekado just to be perfectly sure if your Switch is patched or not.
