Upgrading laptop graphics depends on if the GPU is soldered or socketed. Other factors include thermal capacity of your cooler, strength of your power supply, and compatibility with BIOS. BIOS can be updated - the others can't. And if you thought the 610M was running hot, any better GPU will run even hotter.

Also, sourcing laptop CPU/GPU chips can be more expensive than it's worth.

And with a Pentium B960 processor, I think OP would be better off buying an entirely new laptop anyway.

That's arguable. All of these things can be upgraded, the only problem is that the costs often outweigh the benefits. Technically you could remove a BGA and "reball" a new one on (provided it's compatible), but usually trading in your old machine for a new one is cheaper and less hassle.

There's hope for a Xenosaga port.

With the special tools/machines needed to reball, the possibility of it going wrong and all the associated costs, if the device is not unique just throw it away and a get a new one.
Most Notebooks are dispensable...

only ps5 updated to latest firmware can go on psn, jailbroken ones just don't use psn or they risk getting flagged or banned, altho spouting profanity in online play alredy does that

Anyone dumb enough to get banned for spouting profanity deserves it.

What's the point of video games? Kids playing video games won't be as hardened as the previous ones getting shoved down a hillside.
