Is my gaming collection sad?

You've got more shit than I do; my most valuable game is probably Suikoden 2. My NES broke years ago so I prefer to just emulate the systems I don't have, namely really expensive stuff like NeoGeo games. However, if I could afford to collect NG carts I'd do it. If you decide to get a Dreamcast sometime, find an early model(not sure of the specifics) because the earlier the model, the easier it will be to play burned games on it. Hypothetically, if I were to put a burned copy of Capcom vs SNK 2(Japan only on the DC) in my DC, it'll start up just fine as if it's a perfectly legit game, no boot disc required.

I'd like to get a Saturn, an action replay(as a substitute for the 4MB RAM cart), the 2 Marvel VS games and SFZ3 sometime.

e: no SNES? BLASPHEMY!

That's a very functional collection, like the one I have(check my sig).
I focused on have a good collection that is more functional than anything else, that's why I got a RetroDuo instead of a NES and SNES.
that being said I have repeated functions(Gamecube, Wii and Wii U can play Gamecube games) in my collection, but also just recently the hacks have solved some issues with games I played(audio streaming was possible only on Gamecube with modchip).
In other cases is because I never get rid of anything, so I enden up with a DSi and 2 N3DSs. before the N3DS was created the GBASP+DSi combo was the best you could have to play every Nintendo handheld game, several years later the best combo is NN3DS and GBASP, but the DSi just stuck.

why a game boy color, and not a game boy advance?
i had a game boy color, didnt liked as a gba
Yeah, Main reason i can think of for wanting a gbc is to do a back light mod to it and buy a everdrive gb for it. That and i think gbc had the ir port on it that gba does not have, not sure on that part though.

thats the only thing about the game boy color, the IR port. gba doesn't have it..
and the fact you play on the screen made for them, and not a scalled\border one..
but thats pretty much it about the gbc..

i may get a gb everdrive sometime, but i will use it on a gba..

i am thinki g
I have a gba already

when do you get a N64? you are missing it...
but then i check and you are missing one of the best handhelds. psp. (or get a vita with the psp part is "unlocked" ) a psp is great because it can emulate loads of stuff
also as a bonus a snes..

well my priorities is getting every "game player"
i mean, since i am getting a gba later, it would be useless for me to get a game boy color, i can just use the gba for all gb and gbc games
i only would get a gbc if it was some offer i couldn't refuse (like a 3 or 5 dollars, mint condition in a local shop)
there are so many great consoles :D

You have almost every console worth owning except Sega consoles, I wouldn't call that sad.
It's a pretty normal amount of consoles to own, a little on the high side maybe.
I don't think you can call yourself a collector unless you own N64 and SNES though :P
The real question is how many games do you have?
