Gaming is my ds fake

as raulpica and others have said, there is no such thing as a fake DS. though the screens and shell might be reproduced on the cheap, the actual hardware and software (motherboard, processor, ram, firmware) will all be official nintendo stuff.

reverse engineering hardware like that, and reproducing it unofficially would be an accomplishment of astronomically impossible magnitude. it took 10 years for china to reverse engineer the GBA hardware, and package it into a semi-working knock off - a machine vastly less complex than the DS is. it's simply an impossibility that they've managed to do the same with a DS.

so yes, maybe your LCDs and casing are not legit, but if it boots to the DS firmware and plays DS carts then the innards will be of a real DS without any doubt.

Does it work with ds games, look like a ds and play like a ds?
yeah
It sounds like a DS to me.
The only think I heard of that would kinda be a fake ds would be the Chinese ds called the iQue DS, but it's pretty much just a ds with a different name
iQue DS is the official DS released in China. It's the only one that can play Chinese games because it has support for the characters built in.

i also have a weird thing my ds can have full speed snes emulation without flaws and ff6 works too!
weird huh
i have an r4i-sdhc

did no one ever notice that the DS game cartridges couldn't fit slot1? wtf. XD

yeah, i guess she can still use slot2 flashcarts (for added GBA features), but still... slot1's an epic failure.
