Gaming Is iXtreme LT worth it?

I had to buy a new Xbox 360 because I was banned and now I'm happily playing original Xbox 360 games. But now iXtreme LT has been released, which is said to be undetectable by Microsoft. So, is it worth it? I just don't want to be eventually banned again.

yes its worth it, works perfect on live, you do need to check all your games for ssv2 and splitvid though.

You don't have to have ssv2, but it's nice if you do. Splitvid is a must though.

If you're not willing to take the risk, then no, it's not really worth it. Chances are microsoft will eventually find a way to detect it, if they haven't already.

Just be on guard right around the time Halo Reach comes out. Don't accept any system updates If you really feel the need to when they come out flash back to stock then accept. Then flash back to LT, but seriously stay away from live about a month before Reach comes out I would guess that since they ban people in waves with the newest release of big games like MW2.

Will Ixtreme LT play games that has been patched from Wave4 to Wave3 ???

ixtreme lt will play everything, but its really unsafe to play patched wave games on live, better reburn.

I'm not even going to be playing on live so much any more if you really add it up. It's quite costly, so the only way I see the 360 as a smart financial investment is the fact you can pirate on it. So I'm planning to play online games on ps3. And maybe get back on live for a brief period when reach comes out.

I don't go online, and always just play the SINGLE PLAYER version of games. Mostly racing games.
I notice when I startup the game tho that it logs me in to my online profile.
Will this be an issue when I have the ixtreme LT? What about when I need to dlownload patches? I have the Mitsubishi drive and was told that I would lose all abiility to multiplayer online - which is OK with me.

if you dont want to be banned dont flash your xbox when november comes around most likely everyone will be banned again. Microsoft knows what your doing they just choose not to ban until novemeber so it will help there sales come christmas time

I been banned twice lol. After Gears 2 and last year right before MW2. I personally don't mind spending another $100 on another console if it means my flow of free games can continue

My new box has LT. Come November we'll find out if it really is the "shit". Otherwise I'm expecting to be banned again lol.

I'd personally say, it's worth it. As for the banning issue, personally I just hope to be able to fulfill my prepaid subscription... after that, I don't care if I get console banned or not. being able to play online has been a treat for games that support co-op, but I still find multiplayer in most games too irritating, and kills the fun for me. it's safe to say that I also don't like those online-only achievements, too.
