Hi

Just got back into playing on the Wii

Back in the day when I softmodded the Wii I never backed up my NAND (no idea why).

Everything works great, just I have run out of blocks to play VC and WW games, is it possible to make a NAND backup now and play the VC/WW games from USB or SD card?

If so whats the best way to go about this

I already have a HDD (fat32) running USBGX loader with no problems

Cheers

It's never too late to backup your nand so just boot bootmii & do one now .

As for running them from hdd since you already have a fat32 partion in your hdd all you need to do is set up uneek which is best done through ModMii .

Just boot up ModMii , type s then type 3 and answer the questions to set it up. Also you don't really need a nand backup as modmii can create a nand for you in case you want to start fresh .

Cheers

Dont think Bootmii is installed, can I just install it now ?

Just realised that transferring the channels to SD card through the Wii menu allows me to play them from there (freeing up some block space)

Will go down the ModMii route and get that NAND back, and check out uneek so everything is on the HDD.

Thanks for quick help

Best as boot2 but not all wiis can do that (the installer will say if you can't) so if you can do it then go ahead that + a nand backup will give you the ultimate brick protection .
