Hacking Is it safe for me to update thru system settings

Hi, Im running RXtools with my emunand on version 9.2ish, I'm getting le infinite loading screen in PMsun, so is it safe for my to update through emunand system settings? or is there a title I could run to get the correct firmware version?

You can update through System Settings, but it won't help. You can't run Sun/Moon using rxTools, it's time to move to luma3DS.

Just so happens I'm doing that right now, figured the same myself
EDIT: however I have an issue, after backing up my nand and going through the steps to copy the install files onto my SD, menuhax seems to be gone (cant hold key to boot homebrew menu) and my Home Menu data keeps being recreated on boot.

Looks like I might have to go back and install menuhax again...

Can't help you with menuhax issues I'm afraid, I ditched menuhax for arm9loaderhax a couple of months back.

i had menuhax too i ditched it for A9LH like @Zidapi

Yes, you do need to re-install menuhax using the Plailect guide at least once. It will also be uninstalled by the time you get to full a9lh, but by then it won't matter. Every time you downgrade or update the system, you will need to re-install menuhax as a secondary entry point.
