not likely. flash media have definite r/w cycles and if you fill the capacity to it's limits they tend to last a lot less. I always try to keep around 20% of the capacity free. I've had many sd cards go bad at 90%+ full. However I don't loose anything on them they just stop writing. Can't delete anything either. Even a format won't remove the data.
