Gaming Is it possible to transfer a singe 3DS app?

I don't need my copy of Link's Awakening that I bought from the eShop. Is there any way I can give it to my friend without giving him everything on my 3DS?

Short answer: no.

Long answer, most likely possible, but you will probably have to wait until the 3DS gets hacked, and even then it might take a while.

It seems dumb that it needs to be hacked for me to give him my copy of a game.
If it's hacked, why wouldn't he just.. Get a new copy?

No one knows currently. There is still no hacked 3DS so, we can't be sure for even that much..

The transfer feature is supposed to be used when you buy a new 3DS for yourself, not to give games to friends. Sorry, but that's the sad truth. Game companies limiting the way we use OUR games. Actually, we are not buying games anymore, we are buying licenses to play the game.
