ROM Hack Is it possible to run pkhex on Linux using wine?

For some reason when I try to run the pkhex.exe using wine, pkhex crashes. Maybe its not possible to run it on Linux? Or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Yes I downloaded it 15 minutes ago.

I tried using crossover and crossover throws up errors about p11 missing?

Hmmm I have ran it in Wine before... (just could tell from screenshots on the download page) though yeh it's getting to the loading screen and crashing.

Something did not go as planned...

Make sure dotnet40 is installed as a winetrick

*seigh* well there goes my way of editing my saves, this is why its all ways a good idea to create computer programs for different OS's.

You should be able to get it to run, make sure you have dotnet40 installed in your Wine environment.

You realize its not that simple as "creating computer programs for different OS's"? It takes a lot of work just to pump out a polished program for one OS. DOn't even get me started on multiple. You try having to worry about fixing OS specific bugs, having to relearn how to make programs in the first place depending on how you are making them.... It's literally difficult. Be glad you can run Wine on Linux/Mac. Windows can't touch Mac applications.

Apparently wine 1.8 comes pre installed with dotnet 40 or newer yet pkhex is still not running.

What do you need edited? I can edit your save for you. I have mostly every pk6 and wonder card files if you want certain Pokemon that are battle ready.

I'll do it for you. Just message me your save file and tell me what you want done. I have pretty much every Pokemon as a file. (Only saying this again because my browser crashes before my last post posted or not >_>)
