Hacking is it easy to install a wiikey

modchip.... well i finally made up my mind and decidied to get a Nintendo Wii and a wiikey modchip, but i'm so nervous about instlaling it, because i'm not very good at it. And the first modchip i tried to install was for he ps2 and lets just sya i messed up and fryed my ps2. So for anyone who has installed it...is it very easy to do?

Not too hard, prob on 1-10 scale i'd say about 6, points are small as a ps2 but not as many wires, 5 points 3 are small and 2 of them arnt really small

If you read the numerous WiiKey-threads which already exists, you'll see that quicksoldering the chip isn't all that simple. But as long as you stick to wires and study the guides available you should do just fine.

No, it's not easy to mod a wii if you're a beginner.

It's possible, I did it as did several other newbies, but I wouldn't call it easy. You'll need to practice and watch/read tutorials.

Oh, also there are 6 points for the Wiikey. 4 are small, 2 are big.
